| EDWORKS' PHILOSOPHY |
 |
Edworks tutors are commited to treating each student as
an individual with individual needs. This is the premise upon
which the Edworks philosophy is based and each student’s
personal progressive program designed.
Edworks is not a classroom situation and no computers are used during session times. Programs are conducted on a
one-to-one basis between staff and student, where the standard
ratio of tutor to students does not exceed
one to five*.
Since
its 1990 inception, the philosophy of Edworks has embraced
the raising of the awareness of the individual student, allowing
them to step outside and beyond the sphere of their innate
ability to become independent thinkers and problem solvers.
Such teaching philosophy is supported by international
studies and research findings.
Edworks’ founder and CEO, psychologist,
Greg Nicholson, believes that if education is to be universally
relevant, it should both stimulate and nurture the personal
growth of its students as it prepares them to meet the diverse
business and social challenges of an increasingly complex
global future.
